last week, the last architecture firm i worked at, here in philadelphia, got a shout out from inga saffron. sweet. and, in other news, holy eff, have you seen indexed? it's pure genius, mathy graphs and charts to explain life and it's intricacies. i absolutely love charts and diagrams of every day life and objects (well, as evidenced by the diagram series in my shop, to some extent, i suppose, so i was psyched when i clicked a link to it for the first time.)
this morning i did a quick search for clocks on etsy to replace the clock that leapt to its untimely demise (oh, gosh, no pun intended) last week. and there are some pretty atrocious clocks listed. yug. my dad's shown some interest in developing something to make and sell on etsy, so i immediately thought clocks might be a good product for him (my parents are both skilled in design and making, and i really wish they'd both do more creating and open etsy shops). anyway, the best clocks i found currently listed were by ketchhaus, a pair of architecture students in south florida. but then i convinced my dad to make a prototype clock (and give it to me!), thus ended my search for a clock on etsy. sweet! dads are so awesome.
i've been a busy, busy bee lately. i just can't believe how fast the days are flying by. holy eff, it's friday already! and we have a philly etsy team meeting tonight! how on earth is that even possible? i feel like we had one just last week...
